The Radiostation in Orlunda was transmitting Swedish National Radio between 1961 and 1991. In this concrete building there is a room called Antennsalen (the Antenna hall) where the walls, floors and ceiling are covered in radiation reflecting copper. Inside the room there are big copper coils that were used for creating the strong electromagnetic radiation that carried the sounds in longwave radiowaves. 

The big copper spirals are today standing out of use, no longer serving the technology they were created for. In this performance the copper was put into vibration through friction and touch of the hand. The resonance of the vibrations were then picked up in its rawness by contact microphones and as audio waves amplified out in the copper room acoustically reflecting against the material.

In parallel to the performance Rebecca Larsson and Felicia Sjögren wrote two essays which were printed in a 100 pages hand binded riso publication together with archival pictures released by Altar.
